I have been creating different boxes and vessels for over a year and rarely make any kind of jewellery now. I just can't give up the swirly beads. So I a whole box full of beads in various sizes and colours. Hmmm what to do with them...any suggestions?

ReplyDeleteyou can use them as things to hang off your vessels, decorations. Or you can make bookmarks out of them..
ReplyDeleteWOW, you have a lot of very beautiful beads there! What a rich treasure trove. What I did with my excess was to donate it to non-profits where they could make pretty pendants just by stringing them on silken cording; places like children's arts/crafts programs at Ronald Mac Donald Houses that are often near major pediatric cancer treatment centers, or Girl Guide programs, Boys & Girls clubs, settlement houses, homeless shelters, etc. I've even had some given a good home by the Arc(Association for Retarded Citizens) and also a county nursing home craft program. Some use them to make things to keep, some to sell, and some to make gifts for friends and family.
