Dotty Cane

Today I attempted a Dotty Cane. The cane tutorial was published in the August 2008 Polymer Clay Cafe magazine. The author is Marla Frankenberg, http://www.flickr.com/photos/marlafrankenberg The cane in the magazine was shown in lime green and purple. I decided to do mine with translucent and black clay hoping to use it on
another pair of votive candle holders.







I am going to let this cane (the biggest one I have made yet) rest over the weekend. The cane is about 3 inches wide and 3.5 inches long. I will cover the votives early next week.

I am off to Tofino BC with a couple of friends this weekend. Time for me to get a few things done around the house. http://www.tofino-bc.com/ Tofino is a gorgeous area. I hope to spend some time beach combing and relaxing. See you all next week.
