A hint of what's to come

A good friend of mine has been telling me for a couple months that I should go look online at the new cane design by Alice Stroppel keep in mind I don't like to cane. I had been ignoring my friend's suggestion until yesteray.  I had started to go through my small collection of simple canes and was smashing them together into mud or a compliation of similar coloured canes and then treating the grouping like mokume gane. I finally had a look at the Stropple cane here Stroppel Cane.  After viewing the video I immediately made 6 Stroppel canes that will eventually be turned into new boxes.
