A retro cane or extruded cane is made by cutting and stacking my chosen colours. Then I insert the clay log into my extruder and extrude the clay out the barrel of the extruder. This process always creates wonderful patterns in the clay.
I recently made quite a few retro canes and here they are. I made 1-9 recently and then 10 and 11 are at least a year old.
I will be using these designs to cover the handles of crochet hooks.
